Delta-T Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher for Passaic and surrounding counties in NJ for the 26-27 school year. The contract role runs Monday through Friday through the end of the school year with compensation ranging from $47 to $60 per hour.

Responsibilities include planning, teaching, and evaluating instruction for students having reading or writing difficulties, small-group and classroom instruction, and maintaining confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions

Qualifications

• NJDOE Teaching Certification.
• Fingerprints/Background check (NJDOE) or specialized math certification.
• Ability to comply with written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to build efficient working relationships with staff.
• Proficiency in maintaining efficient classroom management skills.
• Ability to stand for most hours or sit for extended periods.
• Capable of giving instructions in the absence of the main teacher.
• COVID vaccination or weekly testing.
