Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking Certified Special Education Teachers in East Orange, NJ, for the 25-26 school year. This opportunity offers an hourly rate of $50–$60 and involves contract work with weekly payments.

You will plan, teach, and assess instruction for students facing reading/writing difficulties, work in small groups and classrooms, and adhere to school policies and confidentiality requirements. Candidates should hold NJDOE teaching certification and related math credentials or experience.

Qualifications

• NJDOE Teaching Certification is required.
• Specialized Math Certification or Math teaching experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods or sit for extended times.

CLIENT'S HOURS

• Monday through Friday Hourly rate between $50-$60

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Plan, teach, and evaluate instruction for students having difficulty with reading or writing.
• Work with students in small groups and in classroom settings.
• Meet and instruct students in the locations and at the times designated.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• NJDOE Teaching Certification
• NJ Department of Education Fingerprints, Specialized Math Certification or Math teaching Experience
• Ability to comply with written and or oral instructions
• Ability to create an efficient working relationship with other personnel
• Proficiency in maintaining efficient classroom management skills
• Willingness to stand for most hours of the day, or sit for extensive periods of time
• Full capability to give instructions in the absence of the "main" teacher
