Job summary

Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Accomac, VA. This on-site, full-time position involves developing IEPs, delivering direct instruction, and collaborating with families and school staff to support student growth.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Special Education certification and have experience in school settings, with a strong understanding of applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
• Current state certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.
• Knowledge of state and federal special education regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities, ensuring access to the general education curriculum.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
• Monitor and assess students' progress toward IEP goals, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education services.

• Provide behavioral support and intervention strategies for students with emotional and behavioral challenges.

Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is looking for dedicated and motivated Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. We partner with school districts across the country, providing school-based opportunities for Special Education Teachers in a variety of settings.

What You’ll Be Doing*:
