Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Accomac, VA. This full-time, on-site role involves developing IEPs, delivering direct instruction, and collaborating with staff and families to support student success.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master’s in Special Education with current state certification and a passion for helping students with disabilities thrive in inclusive classrooms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
• Current state certification in Special Education.
• Experience with students with disabilities in a school setting.
• Knowledge of state and federal special education regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities, ensuring access to the general education curriculum.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
• Monitor and assess students' progress toward IEP goals, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education services.
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of goals and objectives.
• Provide behavioral support and intervention strategies for students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports all students’ social, emotional, and academic growth.
