Job summary

Liberty Grove Schools in Indianapolis, Indiana seeking an Exceptional Learners Teacher to develop IDEA modifications and accommodations, deliver direct instruction, and help coordinate IEPs under the principal and Exceptional Learners Coordinator.

You will collaborate with general education teachers, monitor student progress with data, and engage families to inform IEP decisions and transitions while supporting behavior and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for teaching licensure.
• Graduate degree preferred for specialist roles.
• Teaching experience required.
• Special Education teaching experience preferred.
• Valid Indiana State Teacher’s License or Charter School Licensure.

Responsibilities

• Develop IDEA modifications and accommodations for students with IEPs.
• Provide direct instruction and collaborate with general education teachers.
• Monitor progress and write IEP progress reports using data.
• Plan and deliver instruction aligned to standards with IEP accommodations.
• Engage families in IEP decisions and transitions.
