Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold a New Jersey instructional certificate and Special Education endorsement(s) (N.J.A.C. 6:11-6.1, 6.2, or 8.1, 8.3 et seq).
• Demonstrate knowledge of content and organize lessons.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, parents, and community.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to classified pupils per IEP.
• Coordinate with regular education staff to integrate instruction.
• Develop sequential lesson plans aligned with Core Curriculum Standards.
• Utilize data to monitor progress and differentiate instruction.
