Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and eligibility to work in the US.
• California teaching credential required or willing to earn it.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Two current professional references, including one from a previous supervisor.
• Disclose every California school district/County Office of Education/charter school/state special school worked for to satisfy AB2534 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Teach Special Education, Mild/Moderate (RSP) as a temporary assignment.
• Support district values of equity, joy and student growth in Oakland.
• Deliver instruction aligned to district standards for the Mild/Moderate program.
• Engage in district professional development and collaborate with staff as needed.
