Job summary

Waynedale Elementary School in Fort Wayne, Indiana seeks a part-time teacher for Mild Mental Disability (.5) to provide instructional services to students and collaborate with the school team. The 0.5 contract covers 4 hours per day, with the possibility to combine two .5 positions for a 1.0 load.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
• REPA/REPA 3 Licensure Options: Exceptional Needs: Mild Intervention for indicated grades.
• Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement requirements for teachers of retained Grade 3 students.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional services to educate all students to high standards.
• Deliver lessons and classroom instruction for Mild Mental Disability (.5) position.
• Work schedule aligns with the school year; 0.5 position may be combined to 1.0.
