Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. seeks an Elementary School teacher with Special Education expertise for Morris School District, located in New Jersey. This full-time role covers 184 days per year with a competitive salary and benefits, and requires NJ certification.

• Collaborate with a professional learning community (PLC) to reflect and improve teaching and learning for all students.
• Integrate technology and interactive elements into classroom instruction.
• Utilize approved district data sources to analyze student progress and provide targeted, differentiated instruction for all students.
• Build honest relationships with parents to update them on student progress and learning style.
• Prepare and assign personalized academic assignments, homework and projects per district policy and curriculum guidance.
• Grade assignments with constructive feedback and help students set learning goals.
• Monitor, evaluate and report student progress including academic growth and social skills.
• Maintain and update files including student paperwork as needed.
• Set personal and professional goals aligned with district vision and the evaluation tool.
• Attend professional development sessions and meetings organized by principal/supervisor and district.
• Follow work day and attendance guidelines per negotiated contract and Morris School District HR protocols.
• Meet requests for additional responsibilities by Principal/Supervisor.

Effective September 1, 2011, The New Jersey First Act implemented May 17, 2011, requires all employees of a school district to reside in the state of New Jersey. Employees of the Morris School District hired after the effective date who do not reside in the State of New Jersey at the time of hire have one year from the effective date of employment to relocate their primary residence to New Jersey. Employees of the school district hired prior to the September 1, 2011 effective date of this Act are grandfathered and are not required to relocate to New Jersey.
