Reggio Magnet Sschool of the Arts is a full-day interdistrict magnet school serving students PreK-Grade 5. Inspired by the Italian Reggio Emilia philosophy, the curriculum is designed to respect a child's point of view and encourage students to control the direction of their learning. Special Education Teacher Position

Strong candidates will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong collaboration skills, and experience in administering a variety of diagnostic assessments, writing reports and presenting at PPT’s. Successful candidates will provide direct and/or consultative services, both in small group and/or within the general education setting, according to the needs of the student, to maximize the learning experience of students with special needs, in academics, interpersonal skills and activities of daily living. Strong candidates will work collaboratively to implement district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities, outcomes; addressing students' specific needs; providing a safe and optimal learning environment.
