Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking Special Education Teachers for the Denton, TX area for the 2026-2027 school year. Positions include RISE, Resource, Inclusion and Life Skills classrooms in multiple campuses.

This is an independent contractor opportunity with flexible hours, typically M-F 7:30am-4:30pm, paying $45+ per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities include delivering core and special education instruction, developing IEPs, maintaining records, communicating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Texas teaching certificate preferred or enrollment in alternative certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in core curriculum and special education areas using appropriate instructional resources.
• Develop and implement innovative methods for educating special education students.
• Maintain suitable instructional environments and adapt materials as needed.
• Collaborate to evaluate student needs and develop IEP/IFSP plans.
• Maintain student records in compliance with due process requirements.
• Evaluate student performance and report progress toward IEP goals.
• Communicate with parents to support student academic development.
• Manage classroom conduct and discipline appropriately.
