Position Summary

This position functions as a member of a professional teaching team in an inclusion setting. The Inclusion Teacher works with the students to promote the students' achievement of educational goals and learning objectives in accordance with the students’ IEP.

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate and appropriate Special Education Endorsement or eligibility
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Early Childhood experience is a plus, preferably in an urban environment

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements

All new EOCCS hires must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to their start date. EOCCS considers exceptions for religious and medical reasons, where appropriate. "Fully vaccinated" is defined as having both doses of a 2-dose vaccine and 1 booster shot or having received a 1-dose vaccine and a booster shot. Proof of vaccination status via a CDC vaccine card is required before the start date. Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated new hires are required to complete weekly COVID-19 PCR testing.
