Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. seeks a Special Education Teacher to support grades K-5 in New Jersey on a contract through June 23, 2027. The role covers four district schools with a schedule from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Home base is within the district; direct services are not at the home base location. Caseload is 30–40 students with a focus on student evaluations and IEP development. Required are NJ teaching certification in Special Education, NJ Technology Certification, and experience evaluating elementary

• Collaborate with general educators, specialists, and families to foster inclusive learning environments
• Maintain clear, detailed records in compliance with state and district mandates

Job description

Bring your passion and expertise in special education to support elementary students in a contract role serving grades K-5. An immediate opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher, covering the full school year with a schedule from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Youll provide vital services across four local schools, ensuring your impact reaches students who need it most (caseload: 3040 students).

Your home base will be within the district, but please note that direct services are not provided at the home base location. Experience with elementary caseloads and a background in conducting evaluations are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid New Jersey teaching certificationSpecial Education/Learning Disability Teacher Certification required
