Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support 4th/5th or 7th/8th grade students in a resource setting. The contract runs August 25, 2026 through June 7, 2027, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm EST, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch and totaling 35 hours per week.

The role focuses on push-in and pull-out services in small groups, creating a positive, supportive learning atmosphere where every student is empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut teaching license with 165 or 265 Special Education Certification.
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in resource/push-in/pull-out settings.
• Experience with 4th/5th or 7th/8th grade students preferred.
• Ability to adapt instruction to individual learning needs.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

This contract role begins August 25, 2026 (or sooner if available), and continues through June 7, 2027. Compensation for this role ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, depending on experience.
