Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a part-time Special Education Teacher to support a homebound student in the Providence, RI area. The role focuses on one-on-one, individualized instruction tailored to the student’s needs, with three 1-hour sessions weekly for the 2026-2027 school year.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid SPED certification, experience with diverse learners, and strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customized instruction to a homebound student based on the IEP and goals.

• Assess student progress and modify lessons to meet targets.
• Facilitate engaging lessons that encourage participation and learning.
• Collaborate with families and related service providers to ensure a coordinated approach.
• Maintain accurate records of instructional activities and student performance.
