Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect instruction to students using a variety of techniques and clear objectives, and modifying curriculum as needed.
• Plan and conduct student activities
• Teach socially acceptable behavior and establish and enforce rules for behavior
• Timely complete all procedural and compliance paperwork
• Maintain accurate and complete records and reports
• Develop effective communication plans, and meet and confer with students' parents, administrators, and other professionals to develop IEPs and screen to determine special education eligibility
• Provide crisis intervention
• Assist in data collection and prep data for governmental reports
• Serve on multidisciplinary teams and participate in staff development, curriculum development, and other professional opportunities, supervise paraeducators and perform related work as required.
