Responsibilities

• Implements IEPs and prepares progress reports with input from staff.
• Develops instructional materials and activities using High Scope curriculum.
• Plans and implements individual and group activities for children.
• Participates in team meetings to plan academic and behavioral progress.
• Collaborates with clinical staff to design interventions for students in crisis.
• Maintains open communication with parents and supports school engagement.
• Participates in in-service training, staff meetings, and conferences.
• Maintains classroom order and cleanliness.
• Addresses hygienic and health needs of students.
• Orders materials for classroom.
• Completes required paperwork and supervises teacher aides.
• Directs arrival and dismissal of students to/from the bus.
