Job summary

EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities.

The role includes developing and implementing IEPs, providing direct instruction in various settings, collaborating with general education teachers, support staff and parents, and monitoring progress to adjust instruction as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Special Education or related field required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction in one-on-one, small group, and whole-class settings.
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate student performance records and IEP compliance.
• Participate in professional development and training.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
