Qualifications

• Valid Missouri Teaching License required.
• Appropriate Missouri Special Education endorsement(s) required.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and progress
• Adapt curriculum, teaching methods, and classroom accommodations to meet individual student needs
• Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal special education requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Collect and maintain accurate documentation and student progress data
