Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking a qualified educator administrator to collaborate with teachers on adaptations for students with special needs and to provide consultative support across the school. Qualifications

• Must hold a Professional Educators License.
• Experience coordinating IEPs and collaborating with classroom staff.

Responsibilities

• Confer with teachers to discuss modifications for students with special needs.
• Provide consultative services to general education staff on effective methodologies.
• Maintain and develop IEPs with appropriate progress documentation.
• Prepare written reports detailing concerns, results, and recommendations.
• Provide quarterly updates to parents regarding goals and progress.
• Deliver staff professional development as appropriate.
• Collect and monitor data to track student progress on caseloads.
• Manage morning check-in duties including attendance and security procedures.
• Maintain positive behavior support systems and incentives.
• Remain certified in crisis intervention as directed by leadership.
• Communicate regularly with parents and participate in IEP/Team meetings.
• Supervise paraprofessionals and support co-teacher responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the director of student services/principal.
