Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education required.
• Additional grade level or content area certification may be needed for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with campus administration to support child find and ARD processes.
• Schedule ARD meetings and ensure appropriate IEP development and timelines.
• Assist in acquiring contracted service providers as needed.
• Coordinate evaluations and review existing evaluation data to meet timelines.
• Work with general educators to provide SPED accommodations and services.
• Ensure IEPs are properly written and implemented.
• Monitor student progress and adjust services accordingly.
• Prepare and send IEP Reports to parents alongside general reports.
• Plan resources to support general education teachers in achieving goals for students with disabilities.
• Ensure compliance with state assessments and alternative assessments.
