Job summary

Jobot Consulting seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026-27 school year in Denver, CO, to support students with special needs within a healthcare setting. You will develop IEPs, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide case management to ensure optimal educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Special Education Teacher.
• Active CO Sped General Endorsement or must have already applied.
• Proven experience as a case manager and writing IEPs.
• Deep understanding of special education laws and practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse professional team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Ability to provide four references, with at least three from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, parents, and other educators to meet educational needs.
• Provide case management and coordinate with other service providers.
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and progress.
• Provide consultation and support to other teachers on strategies and interventions.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
