Sunbelt Staffing in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a kindergarten self-contained classroom for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract role focuses on empowering young learners through tailored instruction and a supportive, collaborative environment.

The incumbent will develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, collaborate with school staff and families, and maintain compliant documentation while fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois SPED certification required.
• Experience working in elementary or school settings preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities
