Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated special education teacher to support K-12 students with diverse needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities

• Teach diverse group of students from varied backgrounds.
• Use SESI models, strategies, and curricula to teach knowledge and skills.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation techniques and crisis management.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high-risk evaluation forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise and monitor students during transitions and movements within the school.
