Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a Stratford, CT school. You will support students with diverse learning needs in a positive, inclusive classroom environment and work closely with a therapist‑owned organization that values your expertise.

You will develop IEPs, modify curricula for varied abilities, and provide one‑on‑one or small group instruction while maintaining compliance and strong communication with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Active state licensure or certification (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Previous experience in schools or with children is preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Structured school-based setting with built-in holidays.
