Qualifications

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with supervised student teaching and coursework in psychology, human development, education history/philosophy, and teaching methods at the relevant learning level.
• For secondary positions, at least 24 semester hours in each principal field of instruction is required.

Responsibilities

• Experience teaching with full and primary responsibility for instruction, including remedial subjects to meet special needs, throughout the learning period.
• Preparation and presentation of lessons for special needs students and evaluation of progress.
• Maintaining student records and ensuring special learning needs are addressed.
• Following standardized curricula and lesson plans for students with special needs.
