Job summary

Achieve Beyond is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for Brooklyn, NY. The role involves delivering pediatric education services, conducting evaluations, and supporting children aged birth to 21 in homes, clinics, and community settings.

You will collaborate with a clinical team to follow individualized therapy plans and track progress. Starting wage ranges from $55.00 to $80.00 per hour, with compensation determined by experience and education.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS certifications/licenses as listed.
• Experience with pediatric settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth–21 years in natural settings.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare, preschools, clinics, and community settings.
• Follow the specific therapy plan for each child, plan ongoing treatment and document progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated and maintain child records with HIPAA/privacy adherence.
