Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in Fall River, MA. Positions include Inclusion and Sub Separate K-12 classrooms with an experienced multidisciplinary team including supervisors, BCBAs, and Social Workers.

Priority is Sub Separate classrooms, supported by 2-3 paraprofessionals. You will develop IEPs, collaborate with staff, and communicate with families while contributing to student progress and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education (K-12).
  • Experience in special education settings is desirable.
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct and support students with a wide range of disabilities in inclusive and sub separate environments.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Engage with paraprofessionals and collaborate with BCBAs, Social Workers, and supervisors to maximize student outcomes.
  • Foster a supportive and structured classroom community.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and school-based team conferences.
  • Provide ongoing communication with families and caregivers to ensure strong partnerships.

Job description

Exciting opportunities are available for Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking dedicated professionals to fill both Inclusion and Sub Separate K-12 positions (including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social Emotional classrooms). The current priority is to hire teachers for Sub Separate classrooms, where you will be supported by 2-3 paraprofessionals as well as an experienced multidisciplinary team, including supervisors, BCBAs, and Social Workers.

Key Qualifications:
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education (applicable for K-12)
  • Prior experience working in special education settings is highly desirable
