• Meets and instructs assigned classes in the location and at the times designated.
• Develops and maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
• Prepares for classes assigned, showing written evidence of preparation.
• Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media.
• Strives to implement the District's philosophy of education.
• Takes necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, and facilities.
• Evaluates student progress on a regular basis.
• Maintains accurate records as required by law and district policy.
• Assists in upholding school rules and Board policy.
• Makes provision for being available to students and parents outside instructional hours.
• Attends and participates in faculty meetings.
• Cooperates with staff in planning instructional goals.
• Assists in the selection of books and materials.
• Accepts responsibility for cocurricular activities.
• Works to maintain open communication with students and parents.
• Establishes and maintains cooperative relations with others.
• Provides for professional growth through reading and workshops.
• Shares insights for improvement with appropriate personnel.
