Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Mississippi Teacher License with Special Education Certification is required.
• A minimum of 2 years teaching experience is required.
• Strong computer skills, including Google Suite.
• Experience working with under-resourced communities, families, and/or students.
• Proven ability to build relationships with leaders, teachers, parents and community.
• Experience in managing and influencing teams to meet outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that fulfill state requirements.
• Differentiate lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with staff to meet instructional goals and district requirements.
• Design learning experiences that utilize digital tools.
• Plan assessments and monitor student achievement to inform delivery.
• Coordinate with the Student Support Coordinator for IEP guidance.
• Assist with extracurricular activities and classroom management.
