Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Mississippi teaching certification required for level/subject area, if applicable.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with under-resourced communities, families and/or students.
• Proven ability to build relationships with leaders, teachers, parents and community.
• Experience in managing and influencing teams to meet outcomes.
• Proven written and verbal communication with all management levels.

Responsabilités

• Plan a program of study that meets students' needs, interests and abilities.
• Prepare lessons reflecting best practices and accommodations.
• Show written evidence of preparation upon supervisor request.
• Guide learning toward curriculum goals with clear objectives.
• Employ varied instructional techniques and media.
• Assess student learning through observations and formal methods with feedback.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides and fellows, coaching their growth.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and technology reflecting individual needs.
• Modify curricula for special education needs according to IEPs.
• Monitor achievement and plan instructional delivery based on results.
• Be available to students and parents outside instructional day.
