Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions in Kenosha, WI is actively seeking a compassionate Special Education Teacher for a W2 local or travel assignment in the 2026–2027 school year. You will support students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive classroom and collaborate with a dedicated support team.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, developing and implementing IEPs, adapting curricula, providing targeted instruction, and coordinating with families and staff to monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field is required.
• Special Education Endorsement/Certification as required by state or district.
• Valid State Teaching License is required.
• Knowledge of IEP development, instructional planning, and accommodations.
• Effective communication and collaboration with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs.
• Adapt general education curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Provide targeted instruction in individual and small-group settings.
• Track and document student progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, administrators, and families.
• Guide classroom aides and paraprofessionals on student support.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student reviews, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
