The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Special Education, an active state teaching license, and expertise in IEP development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• State Teaching License is required.
• Special Education endorsement as required by state/district.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and accommodations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
• Develop and implement IEPs for students.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
• Provide instruction in small settings and with groups.
• Document progress toward IEP goals and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators.
• Guide aides and paraprofessionals in student support.
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
