Central Bucks School District seeks a Special Education Teacher - Elementary Long Term Substitute at Kutz Elementary School. The successful candidate will plan, direct and deliver instruction to students with special needs, align with Pennsylvania Academic Standards, and implement crisis prevention strategies as required.
Requirements include PA Special Education PK-8 certification (content area certificate required for issuance). Elementary certification preferred.

The successful candidate will have solid ability to prepare, direct and deliver instruction to students in special needs classes.
Candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy and knowledge of Pennsylvania's Academic Standards.
Utilization of crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP. Training will be provided via CBSD.
Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-8 certification (content area certificate required for issuance). Elementary certification preferred.
Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-12 (certificate discontinued 8/31/2013/content area certificate required).
