Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education with endorsement in at least one area of special education (ASD, EI, CI, SLD, PI, HI, VI, TBI, etc.).
• Current Michigan special education teaching certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for scholars based on evaluation data.
• Provide services to scholars in the least restrictive environment.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and maintain progress on goals.
• Document scholars’ progress and accommodations in the district records.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and service providers.
