Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent.
  • Must possess valid teaching certification with appropriate endorsement for subject area.
  • Properly Placed with required endorsements as determined by district assignment.
  • Additional education/training in specific area may be required depending on assignment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff members, and students, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Teach district approved curriculum.
  • Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students’ maturity and interests.
  • Assess student progress and develop individual learning plans.
