Job Summary:

Shema Kolainu-Hear Our Voices (SKHOV) is seeking a highly qualified Special Education Teacher EI to join our team in Astoria, Queens, NY. As a Special Education Teacher EI, you will work with children aged 0-3 in our Early Intervention Programs, focusing on developmental milestones such as communication, play, and daily routines. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) for children with ASD and related developmental disabilities
• Develop and deliver comprehensive educational programs tailored to the needs of children aged 0-3
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for each child
• Assess and evaluate student progress, making data-driven decisions to inform instructional strategies
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support across settings
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early intervention and special education

Requirements:
