Job summary

The role collaborates with general and special education staff, coordinates building teams, and ensures appropriate programming and behavioral success under supervision.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in education or a field related to special education.
Minimum of three consecutive years of highly effective or effective teaching in a special education program.
Possess a current endorsement in any area of special education or eligible for MARSE endorsement.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with general and special education staff to support scholars’ progress.
Lead data-based decisions to improve scholar growth and outcomes.
Provide support for developing quality IEPs/Service Plans under Michigan rules.
Assist with transition conferences and eligibility processes as applicable.
Participate in required meetings and district initiatives.
May proctor assessments and provide direct service to scholars when needed.
