Job description

The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent qualified candidates for the position of (2) Special Education Teacher at Oxford Elementary School for our autism program- All Students Can Succeed. Grades K-6.

Candidates must hold a valid Maine certificate or the ability to obtain one with appropriate endorsement(s) (#282).

Reports to: Building Principal/Director of Student Services

Work Schedule: 180 Day Contract

Salary: $46,012.50 - $81,329.34 (SY26/27) - note additional stipends for Special Education teachers*

In addition to the base salaries above, Special Education positions receive the following annual supplemental stipends:

  • Day Treatment Teachers - $4,500
  • Functional Life Skills Teachers - $4,400
  • Social Skills Teachers - $3,400
  • Resource Room Teachers - $2,000
  • Social Workers - $4,450
  • Applied Academics Teachers - $4,000
