Responsibilities:
  1. Meet and instruct assigned classes in the designated locations and times.
  2. Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning within resource limits.
  3. Prepare for classes and provide evidence of preparation upon request.
  4. Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
  5. Employ various instructional techniques and media suitable to the physical limitations and needs of students.
  6. Implement the district's educational philosophy and instructional goals through instruction and actions.
  7. Take precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
  8. Regularly evaluate students' progress.
  9. Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law and policy.
  10. Uphold and enforce school rules, regulations, and policies.
  11. Be available to students and parents for educational purposes outside instructional hours when needed.
  12. Attend and participate in faculty meetings.
  13. Collaborate with staff on instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
  14. Assist in selecting instructional materials.
  15. Participate in co-curricular activities as assigned.
  16. Maintain open communication with students and parents regarding academic and behavioral progress.
  17. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with others.
