Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher in Parker, CO to support students in an Affective Needs program. You will provide individualized instruction, implement IEP goals, and create a structured classroom environment to promote growth.

The role collaborates with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school staff. Colorado licensure and SPED endorsement required; experience with affective needs preferred.

Qualifications

• Colorado CDE teaching license with SPED endorsement.
• Experience with affective needs or behavioral/social-emotional needs preferred.
• Strong classroom management and behavior support skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction in Affective Needs program.
• Support academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and communication needs.
• Implement individualized behavior and instructional strategies.
• Create a structured, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, families.
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction.
