Job summary

Chester County Intermediate Unit in Malvern, PA, seeks a Special Education Teacher for TEACH ABA at the Great Valley Campus. You will provide specially designed instruction in a clinical treatment program, collaborating with a licensed clinician, BCBA, and psychiatrist to support students with autism and mental health needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Special Education is required.
PDE Special Education PK-12 or PK-8 certification is required.
Experience with ABA and Verbal Behavior is required.
Experience in Autistic Support education is required.

Responsibilities

Develop IEPs and PBSPs addressing student needs.
Use ABA to promote positive behaviors per IEPs.
Assist with de-escalation and PBSP implementation.
Design and implement verbal-behavior instructional model.
Collaborate with therapists and related service providers.
Administer assessments like VB-MAPP and assist with FBA/SETT.
Maintain daily records and prepare progress reports.
