Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning in Trumbull, CT, is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team serving neurodiverse children and young adults. You will manage a caseload of up to 10 students, implement academic and behavior programming, and collaborate with the BCBA and instructional staff to develop individualized education plans.

Qualifications

• CT certification in special education
• Familiarity with ABA/Precision Teaching/Direct Instruction
• Experience with students with challenging behaviors

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of up to 10 students with IEPs
• Implement academic and behavior programming
• Supervise or delegate to Instructional Assistants and ABA Therapists
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to develop student programming
