Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team. You will manage a caseload of up to 10 students, implement academic and behavior programming, and oversee assistants while collaborating with the BCBA to develop student plans.

We value dedication to helping neurodiverse students, applying evidence-based approaches, and maintaining strong communication with families and staff. This role is on-site in CT with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• CT certification in special education; eligible for long-term substitute.
• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis/Precision Teaching.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload up to 10 students within classroom and implement academic and behavior programming.
• Oversee IEP implementation and supervise assigned instructional assistants and ABA therapists.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to develop and adjust student programming.
