• Assess students’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, and social needs and provide developmentally appropriate instruction
• Conduct academic assessments and use results to support eligibility determinations and program decisions
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement instruction that aligns with the SLCS curriculum
• Develop, monitor, and report on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ensure differentiated instruction and accommodations are implemented
• Advocate for students to meet educational and developmental needs
• Evaluate student performance and communicate progress to teachers and staff
• Partner with teachers to identify students at academic or behavioral risk
