Job summary

Navra is seeking a school-based Special Education Teacher (K–12) on a contract with renewal option for the 2026–2027 school year in a collaborative educational setting. The role emphasizes developing IEPs, providing targeted instruction, and partnering with families and school staff.

Qualifications include an active DE SPED credential (or eligibility) and a degree in special education or a related field; experience with diverse learners and IEP processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborating with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families.
• Assessing student progress and adjusting instructional strategies to support academic and behavioral growth.
• Participating in IEP meetings and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Implementing accommodations, modifications, and positive behavior supports.
• Maintaining compliance with IDEA, California regulations, and district policies.

Pay Rate: Competitive Weekly Pay based on experience starting at $50/hr

As a school-based Special Education Teacher (K–12), you'll help students with diverse learning needs reach their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals in a collaborative and supportive school environment.

Your days will include:

• Providing specialized instruction to students across K–12 grade levels with diverse learning needs.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborating with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families.
• Assessing student progress and adjusting instructional strategies to support academic and behavioral growth.

Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting

Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)

Caseload: K–12 (placement discussed during the interview)
