Job summary

Who We Are Looking For: Are you the Special Education Teacher we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our youth.

Centerpoint is a 16-bed Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) for emotionally disturbed adolescent males. The primary mission of Centerpoint is the treatment and rehabilitation of adolescent males with mental illness and challenging behaviors. Centerpoint provides a secure, clinically intensive residential program that enhances growth and coping skills. The program's ultimate goal is to enable each resident to attain optimal psychological and social growth; to transition to a less restrictive setting and eventually into the greater community.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $52,000 to $94,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

• You will be able to work collaboratively with our special education team to provide the best academics for our youth.
• You will be able to attend meetings with family members, collaterals and other teams to address any of the youth's academic needs.
• You will help our youth discover what makes them feel competent and valued by working with them to develop important life skills. Your day-to-day work will support them in developing a sense of self and provide them the skills to be successful in their next steps.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be licensed by the Massachusetts DESE for Special Education Moderate Disabilities 5-12.
