EDU-AIDs is seeking a High School Special Education Teacher in Stafford Springs, CT, for a full-time role. You will provide individualized instruction aligned to IEP goals and collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster student growth.

You will adapt curriculum for diverse learners, monitor progress, and communicate with families to ensure consistency and success across settings. The position emphasizes inclusive practices and student independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Valid Connecticut Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience with high school students with diverse learning needs preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of IEP development, accommodations, and instructional modifications.

Position: Full-Time

Level: High School

Tenure: ASAP through the end of the 2026-2027 school year
