The Butler Area School District is searching for special education teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Vacancies include both elementary and secondary, in the areas of: itinerant special education, autistic support, life skills, and emotional support. Both permanent and long-term substitute positions are available.

The Butler Area School District requires all permanent new hires to be dual certified or to become dual certified within one year of employment. The District will reimburse new hires for costs associated in obtaining an additional certification.
