Supplemental Health Care is seeking qualified Special Education Teachers in Salem, Oregon for the 2026-2027 school year. Four positions: 2 Elementary SPED teachers and 2 High School SPED teachers.

Local candidates earn $48.00-$51.95 per hour; travelers may earn $2,078.00-$2,264.00 gross weekly. Responsibilities include providing specialized instruction, developing and monitoring IEPs, maintaining progress reports, and collaborating with general education teachers, service providers,

• Current Oregon Special Education Teaching License/Credentials
• Previous Special Education classroom teaching experience
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, administrators, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Open Positions:

• 2 Elementary Special Education Teachers
• 2 High School Special Education Teachers

Compensation:

• Local Candidates: $48.00 - $51.95 per hour
• Travelers (residing more than 50 miles from the assignment): $2,078.00 - $2,264.00 gross weekly

Required Qualifications:
